We had one entire side of our fence come down during the storms. I had used Allen County Fence before at a different property previously, so called them for this job. The work was done in half a day to replace the entire side, including taking the remaining fence down and removing the posts (some of which had broken off). That depends on your needs and preferences. If privacy is your top priority, a 6 ft wooden privacy fence or vinyl privacy fence is a great choice. For open views or decorative appeal, especially near ponds or green space, aluminum fences are popular in Fort Wayne and surrounding areas. We’ll gladly walk your yard and help you choose the right style that meets HOA guidelines and enhances your space.
Typically, a fence belongs to the property owner on whose land it was installed. If there’s uncertainty, contact your county assessor or hire a property surveyor. Allen County Fence does not perform land surveys or mark property lines.

Our pine fencing products are pressure-treated to make them resistant to insects, rot, and damage. However, our cedar fencing is naturally resistant to insects, rot, and decay. Therefore, cedar fences do not usually require pressure treatment.

Our aluminum, vinyl, and chain link fences require minimal maintenance. These are great choices for long-term durability, especially in the Midwest climate. Wood fences may need periodic sealing or treatment to maintain their appearance.

When fences are installed using pre-fabricated panels, fencing slopes and irregular ground levels can be difficult to properly fence. You will usually get large gaps at the bottom areas and uneven capping.

We do NOT use pre-fabricated fence panels. We build custom fences. Custom fences (or stick-built fences) allow us to better follow the lay-of-the-land (topography) and gives a much smoother transition. We can include custom transitions as an upgrade to your fence installation.

The turnaround time for fence installation depends on several factors such as type of fence, length of fence to be installed, and site conditions. Project time would also be affected by the removal of any existing fence if required. Usually, our installation takes 2 days here in the Northeast Indiana and Northwest Ohio area. If we’re also removing an old fence, the total time would be 3 to 4 days. Please ask your sales representative for scheduling details.

Each fence comes with a different type of warranty or guarantee of performance. We offer a limited lifetime warranty on vinyl and aluminum products. Wood does not have a warranty.
